Coupe de France of football 1935-1936

The Coupe de France 1935-1936 saw to clash 636 clubs amateurs and professionals through France. It was the 19th edition of the cut of France, of which the finale was held with the Olympic stadium Yves-of-Manor, on May 3rd, 1936. This edition saw gaining the team of the RC Paris, which signs one doubled Cut-Championship.

Thirty-second of finale

The matches of the thirty-second of finale were played the December 15th 1935 with two played matches the 22 (Cannes-St-Etienne SC and the match rejoué Fives-Caudry).

Sixteenth of finale

The matches of sixteenth of finale were played the January 5th 1936, except the match ACE Brest-native-CA Paris (January 12th). The match with rejouer between the OM and the FC Sète takes place on January 16th.

Eighth of finale

The matches of the eighth of finale were played the February 2nd 1936. The match rejoué between Sochaux and Valencians is held the February 20th.

Quarterfinals

The matches of the quarterfinals were played on March 1st 1936. The rejoué match of the CCP against Lille is held the March 12th; The first match rejoué between Sochaux and Five takes place the March 28th and the second on April 1st.

Semi-finals

The matches of the semi-finals were played the 4 (CCP-Sochaux with the Parc of the Princes) and April 5th (Charleville-Red Star with Colombes) 1936.

Finale

The final took place with the Olympic stadium Yves-of-Manor with Colombes, the May 3rd 1936 in front of 39.275 spectators. Couard is the single striker of the match but Veining imposes itself like the best player of the finale. For Lucien Gamblin, “Veining exceeds French football. It would surely succeed in impotre only it equips English with Division 1. ” ¹
