The county of Stephens (English: Stephens County ) is a county located in the north-center of the State of the Texas at the the United States. It is named in the honor of Alexander Stephens, the vice-president of the States confederated of America. The seat of the county east Breckenridge. According to the census of 2000, its population is of: 9674 inhabitants.
The county has a surface of: 2387 km ², of which: 2317 km ² on the terrestrial surfaces.
