County of Socorro
The county of Socorro is one of the 33 counties of the State of the New Mexico, with the the United States of America. It was founded the 1er July 1850. It takes again the name of its seat, Socorro, name given to an Amerindian village by the Spanish explorer Don Juan de Oñate in 1598. This one having received of the assistance of the villagers, it had baptized the Socorro place - Spanish help in .
