Coppice under grove

The coppice under grove is a type of forest Aménagement which mixes the two modes: grove and coppice. One thus finds there two levels of vegetations quite distinct.

The reserve (or grove) is characterized by:

  • Competition: free growth
  • Intolerance with the shade

The coppice is characterized by:

  • Structure équienne
  • asexual Reproduction
  • simple periodic Exploitation (Cutting back)
  • Competition exerted by concerning the light
  • Tolerance with the shade
