Coordination antifascist of Belgium

The Coordination antifascist of Belgium (CIF) was founded, in 1996, los of an assembly held with Ganshoren (common inhabitant of Brussels) and gathering the whole of the organizations antiracists and faces French-speaking Belgian antifascists. Its initiator is Manuel Abramowicz, the coordinator of the publication RésistanceS . Manuel Abramowicz will receive, to be based the CIF, the support of the leader trade unionist Jacques Yerna. Information network and of mobilization, the CIF will federate the faces antifascists of the French Communauté of Belgium and will work hand in the hand with the similar Dutch-speaking organizations.

At the time of the arrival of the extreme right-hand side to the capacity in Austria, in 1999, the CIF was the engine of the mobilization anti FPÖ, the party neofascist of Jörg Haider. In 2006, several members of the CIF are always active: in the capital of the Walloon region with the organization Namur antifascist (NAF) or in Tournai with the Forum citizen/Front antifascist. In the Area of Brussels, the militants of the CIF gather within the collective Brussels antifascist (BAF).
