Constantin Vladimirski

Constantin Vladimirski prince de Vladimir of 1217 with 1218.

Born on May 18th, 1185 in Vladimir he is the âiné son of Vsevolod III Vladimirski.

In 1206 his/her father gives him the prerogative of Rostov and designates it as successor with the help of the transfer of this city to his/her younger brother Iouri. Constantin refuses there and his/her father in reprisals indicates Iouri as sucessor instead of him.

To died of Vsevolod, the quarrel of its sons Constantin and Iouri plunge the country in anarchy. One sees emerging 5 prerogatives for wire of the late prince: Tver, Riazan, Rostov, Iaroslav, Nijni-Novgorod. The brothers divided themselves in two camps supporting Constantin or Iouri. This period (1212 - 1217) is known under the name of the Anarchy of the Large Brood .

Constantin beats Iouri in 1216 in the plain of Lipitsa after which it makes its heir to it and withdraws himself in Rostov.Il dies on February 2nd 1218.

Of its union with a girl of Mstislav de Smolensk married on October 15th, 1195 it leaves three wire:

  • Vassilko born on December 7th, 1208 prince of Rostov in 1218 assassinated by the Mongols on March 4th, 1238 after the battle of Sita.

  • Vsevolod born on June 18th, 1210 Prince of Iaroslav in 1218 killed with the battle of Sita on March 4th, 1238 by the Mongols.
