Complementary control panel of direction (France)

Without the field of the road signs of direction, the control panels complementary to type D70 are intended to inform the Usager of the destinations served by the next exit, junction or routes special. It are composed of rectangular registers.

History

The highways were create only in 1955 and in addition it was not nowhere made mention, in the law, of separated roadways, contrary to a usually widespread opinion. It is what explains why the indication of the highways was not the immediate attention object.

It is only with the instruction of March 22nd, 1982, that the panels of warning appear. The panels currently in force are not any more those of 1982.

There exist three control panels complementary to exit.

Junction

There exist two control panels complementary to highway junction.

Route special

There exist two control panels complementary to special routes.
