Compensated IQ
IQ compensated for is a method complementary to evaluation of the interest of a catch in advance school for the intellectually early children.
In complement of the standard IQ which locates the row of the child in the group of the same age, the compensated IQ makes it possible to locate the row of the child in the group older than it will integrate if it jumps a class.
The method is simple. It is enough to dimension its answers to the tests either according to the real age but according to the current Middle Age of the pupils whom it will join in the higher class.
Jean-Charles Terrassier, creator of this method, recommends to consider this catch in advance only when the compensated IQ is equal or higher than 115 points so that the child preserves a broad margin of ease and safety in a more demanding context but adapted better to his intellectual potential.
This method is also usable with the children presenting a delay of development to locate their row in the event of redoubling.
