Comet Hauls-Bopp

The comet Hauls-Bopp (C/1995 O1) was discovered the July 23rd 1995 by two Astronome S Amateur S American, Alan Hale with the New Mexico and Thomas Bopp in Arizona, at a few minutes of interval.

The Observation with the naked eye of comet Hauls-Bopp could be made May 17th 1996 with the November 2nd 1997 (nearly 18 months), which makes of it visible comet without instrument for more the long period.

One detected traces of isocyanic acid (HN=C=O) in the Hyakutake comets in 1996 and Hauls-Bopp in 1997.
