The Collegial Notre-Dame , located on the Place of Weapons, with Vitry-le-François, in the department of the Marne was built at the 17th century, in the city founded in 1545 by François Ier, which gave him its name and its weapons, after the total destruction by Charles Quint of the old medieval fortified town of Vitry-en-Perthois, already partially dismantled at the 13th century.
The first stone of Collegial Notre-Dame, with structure identical to that of the large cathedrals, was posed in 1629. Its frontage with two turns and the interior is of traditional style.
