This source quickly becomes a place of Pèlerinage where run of many patients. She is today in the center of the college.

The Abbey

Around the source, the counts of Dammartin create a field which they give in stronghold to Garlande at the beginning of the 12th century. In 1150, Agnes de Garlande, last heiress of this family, brings the field in dowry to Foucauld IV of Saint-Denis which perhaps made made there set up a vault in memory of their Guillaume son. A few years later, it makes in any case build a priory in order to establish there regular Chanoines of saint Augustin according to the rule of Victor Saint. The act of formation dated February 8th, 1176 (1177 in our current calendar) is established by Simon, Evêque of Meaux.

In 1184, the priory is set up in Abbey.

In 1251, White of Castille, mother of holy Louis, decides to install there an orphanage for the children of the knights died in Croisade.

In 1358 and 1418, the Abbey was burned and destroyed by, respectively, the Grande Jacquerie and the battles between English, Armagnacs and Bourguignons

It is in 1429 (it is with Thieux on August 13rd) or 1430, (it ressuscite a child with Lagny this year) that Jeanne d' Arc, founds the College in 1638 then.
