He is the son of Chilpéric I {{er}} and Frédégonde.

- Dagobert Ier, king d' Austrasie, of Neustrie and Burgondie (602 - 639)
- Charibert/Caribert II of Aquitaine (606 - 632), duke of Aquitaine, then king d' Aquitaine, husband of Gisele de Gascogne.
In 618, he marries Sichilde. She is the sister of Gomatrude, wife of Dagobert Ier king of the Francs.
Biography
Wire of Chilpéric Ier and Frédégonde, he becomes king of Neustrie at the four months age. With died of Thierry II, in 613, it recovers the Austrasie and becomes thus king of the Francs. He made perish Brunehilde of a dreadful torment: she was trailed by an untamed horse, attached by the hair. Master of all France, it attacked the Saxons and killed with his hand Bertoald, their duke. After this victory, it was not any more occupied but to make reign in its States justice and abundance. It is reign of Clotaire II which date the irremovability of the mayors of the palate (614) by the edict of October 18th, 614.
He dies on October 18th, 629, leaving the throne with his son, Dagobert Ier.
