Claude de Bullion
Claude de Bullion is a gentleman French born in October 1569 with Paris and deceased the December 22nd 1640 in Paris.
He was lord of Bonnelles, Surintendant of finances under Louis XIII (1632) then Minister of Justice of 1633 with 1636. He was an active support of Richelieu.
His/her son Christmas de Bullion succeeded to him like Minister of Justice.
In 1611, Claude de Bullion bought the seigniory of Bolt, today Bullion in the department of the Yvelines. It also bought the castle of Agnou, in the town of Maule. In December 1621, of the letters patent of the king Louis XIII to him were granted “bearing commutation of the known as place, ground and seigniory of Bolt in that of Bullion”.
Claude de Bullion was the " créateur" Gold louis.
It made build with Paris, on the drawings of Vau, a splendid hotel, where one noticed two galleries painted by Vouet and Jacques Blanchard.
