Biography

Claude Auclair begins his career at the beginning of the Années 1970 with illustrations of Science-fiction for the reviews of the editions Opta in particular Galaxy-(a) or Fiction (cover of the n° 185 of May 1969, n° 186 of June 1970, n° 196 of April 1970 and the n° 201 of September 1970). Very quickly, it is reference mark and is engaged by the newspaper Pilote, which it leaves for the Journal of Tintin. At the end of the decade, it starts its own productions always anchored in field SF, where it develops a sinister and apocalyptic vision future which will culminate with the saga Simon of the river . From there, Auclair turns to the companies of before the modern era and explores different thêmes like the Esclavagisme in blazing Sang or the history Celte in Bran Ruz, one of the four novels founders of (To be followed), or Tuan Mac Cairill
