Claude-François Cheinisse

Claude-François Cheinisse (1931 - September 9th 1982) is a writer Fantastique and of Science-fiction.

Husband of Christine Renard, it starts to publish news of science fiction in reviews in 1958. He publishes in 1963 his only novel, a whodunnit under the pseudonym of Christian Libos. Toxicologist of reputation, it publishes a popularizing work on this subject, translated into English. After the death of Christine in 1979, it still makes publish some books of his partner, in particular a collection with two hands where their news is answered. Increasingly depressive, it commits suicide on September 9th, 1982, involving in death his two daughters, Francoise (16 years) and Danielle (13 years).
