City Life

City Life is a Video game of urban simulation. As for the series of the plays '' SimCity '', the player will found his own city, will build it and manage it, taking again in that the topic initiated by very first the SimCity of Will Wright in 1989. He adds the concept of urban communities there what modifies the play radically.

Initially envisaged for October 2005, the play is finally published in France in the first quarter 2006.

Jouabilité

City Life puts the player at the place of the mayor of a city, charged to develop its city via residential zones, commercial and many infrastructures while managing the problems with which the cities are confronted. An additional and innovative stress is laid on the management of the urban communities. Each one of them has specific needs and cohabits badly with the others. They all are however of course essential to the good walk of the city. The white collars (engineers) and the blue collars (working) hate the sores (middle-class Bohemian) and alters (employed) but they want that their children have access to education. However, in City Life, the professors and the teachers are alters or sores. It is thus necessary to make cohabit these different communautées so that the city functions.

Material change compared to the other software of constructions of quoted, City Life is been driven by an engine 3D in real-time making it possible to walk in its city as good seems to us! Even the orthogonal plan of the streets formerly imposed by SimCity 4 disappears to leave room to a certain freedom.

An important update was published in November 2006 with the exit of City Life Deluxe.
