Church Évangélique Lutheran Synod of France and Belgium
The Church Évangélique Lutheran - Synod of France and Belgium , or EEL-SFB , is a church denominational Luthérienne in France. It is made of ten parishes. Their addresses are in list below.
In 2006, the EEL-SFB is a member of the Council International Lutheran, like the east also the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod in the United States.
History
The parishes founders formed the synod in 1927. Their origin goes back to the alarm clock Luthérien XIXe century. They finally left the Church of the Confession of Augsburg of Alsace and Lorraine for doctrinal reasons. After the First World War, and more still after the Second, the EEL-SFB opened stations missionaries and founded parishes out of the Alsace (Paris region amongst other things). The Synod supports churches in French-speaking Africa, particularly in the training areas of pastors and evangelists and that of the literature.
Current organization
Since May 2000, its president is Pasteur Jean Thiébaut Haessig, who is also Pasteur of the parish with Châtenay-Malabry Hauts-de-Seine Arrondissement Antony and director of the mission by the media " The Luthérienne" Hour; (site: Www.mediachrist.com)
