Chugach

The Seigneurie of Banias is one of the backs strongholds of the Royaume of Jerusalem.

History

Banias was given by the Assassin S to Baudouin II in 1128, which in inféoda Rénier Daughters-in-law. It passed then by marriage to Onfroy de Toron, which sold it in 1157 with Ordre of the Hospital. Nur AD-DIN made the conquest in of it 1167, but a part was taken again in 1176 and was given to Josselin III of Édesse.

The seigniory is in the east of the Seigneurie of Strand.
