Christophe Dominici

Christophe Dominici , born on May 20th, 1972 with Toulon (VAr), is a player of Rugby to XV French. He plays in team of France and evolves/moves at the back station of winger or within the manpower of the French Stade Paris.

After having started with the Football, it chooses the Rugby. He will play initially half of opening then center three-quarter, before positioning with the wing.

In May 2007, it published its autobiography " Blue with the âme".

Christophe Dominici seemed dedicated first of all with a career of footballer. His/her father indeed played goalkeeper in the teams of Colmar or Hyères and thus Dominici took its first very young license of football to Solliès-Pont, village of the Var where he lived. To note a quarterfinal of Cut Gambardella lost against the Sports association of Monaco Football Club of Lilian Thuram.

But it Malayan place had one day of match against Beaucaire where a general brawl burst. Christophe Dominici found itself then with only one fellow-member against the eleven other players, all his partners being itself flee! Thus it dropped the Football for a sport where there was apparently more solidarity, the Rugby.

It engaged then with the club of Rugby of Solliès-Pont at approximately 17 years. It started at the station of half of opening in Championship of Regional Honor and knew a rise in the 3rd Division, playing at the same time first and as a junior equips some (with in particular of the championships of the VAr or the Littoral with the junior team).

At the end of two years, it left to Valetta which evolved/moved in the 2nd Division. It passed then to the station of three-quarter centers and missed the rise Groups B of it - where the Rugby Toulon-native club evolved/moved then - except for a match. Then after two years spent with Valette, it was with the turn of the leaders of the of the department of Var club to contact it the last day of the changes, via Victor Agostini then president of RCT.

And thus Christophe Dominici lands within the major club of the Riviera, where it passed to the wing. The first year, it was some titular times and eleven times replacing. It came into play for the first time against USAP in the place of Jaubert, which had broken the hand, and was found vis-a-vis Joubert. Its first establishment was at the time of a match vis-a-vis SBUC, then pulled by Bernard Laporte and composed of the “rapetous” Moscato, Gimbert and Simon.

Dominici remained four years on the Roads, and unfortunately per hour of the turn towards the professionalism which the club negotiated badly - one will realize there a few years later… - it went to see Jean-Claude Ballatore, then trainer, to claim better wages for him but also the other players, which was not accepted.

With its accomplice Franck Comba, they then decided to call some max Guazzini, president of a team just promoted and which stated to want to do of sound French Stade Paris one of the large French clubs.

It honoured its first wraps international in team of France on February 7th, 1998 in Rugby with XV against the team of England at the time of the Five Nations tournament 1998 with a test marked, one refused, and with the key a victory 24-17.

He is in particular the author of a test of legend in an “enormous” match as the daily newspaper will titrate it the Team in semi-final of the world cup 1999 against the team of New Zealand.
