Christian sources
The collection Christian Sources is a collection of texts Patristique S, founded in Lyon in 1943 by the Jesuits Jean Daniélou, Henri de Lubac and Claude Mondésert.
Its works are generally bilingual (Greek-French or Latin - French); however certain Eastern texts, in particular syriaques, are available in translation alone.
The collection is published by the Institute of the Christian Sources, whose current director is Mr. Bernard Meunier, researcher at CNRS; it is published by the Éditions of the Stag.
It to date counts (April 2007) approximately 510 volumes. Among the Greek authors appear Origène, Clément of Alexandria, Jean Chrysostome and the Fathers cappadocians (Basile Large the, Gregoire the Theologist, Gregoire de Nysse); among Latin, Tertullien, Cyprien, Ambroise of Milan, Gregoire Large the, and also of the medieval authors like Bernard de Clairvaux or Syméon the New Theologist.
A under-collection, the edition of complete works of Philon of Alexandria, also exists.
