Christian Bélascain

Christian Bélascain , was born on November 1st 1953 with Biarritz and is deceased the January 8th 2004. It is a former player of Rugby to XV, which played with the team of France of 1977 with 1983, evolving/moving at the station of center three-quarter (1,80  m for 85  kg). He played with the Boucau Stade, the Bayonne Aviron, and the US Bardos. He became then professor of physical education, and was trainer of the Bayonne Oar.

Bélascain was to manage Bayonne Oar. It is deceased at 50 years following an aneurysmal rupture.

Career

In club

Formed Boucau, he played with the Bayonne Aviron, club with which he gained the Challenge Yves of the Manor and was finalist of the Championnat of France.

In national team

He disputed its first test match the December 10th 1977, against the team of Romania, and its last test match was against the team of Wales, the March 19th 1983.

Enough oddly, it will have met only 5 adversaries in blue since it disputed the four meetings of the tournaments 1978, 1979, 1982 and 1983 and 2 tests against Romania…
