Choguel Kokalla Maïga
Choguel Kokalla Maïga is a politician Malian, born in Tabango (Mali, area of Gao) in 1958.
Of profession engineer of telecommunications, it is close to Moussa Traoré. He was member of the National union of the young people of Mali, association founded by the mode dictatorial.
In February 1997, he becomes president of the patriotic Mouvement for the revival (MPR), being claimed political party Foamed Traoré.
In 2002, it was presented to the presidential election where it obtained 2,73% of the voices to the first turn before supporting with the second turn Amadou Toumani Touré.
Choguel Kokalla Maïga was trade and Minister of Industry in the governments of Ahmed Mohamed Ag Hamani from October 16th, 2002 to April 28th, 2004 and of Ousmane Issoufi Maïga from May 2nd, 2004 to September 27th, 2007.
For the presidential election Malian of 2007, Choguel Kokalla Maïga supported the candidature of the outgoing president Amadou Toumani Touré.
