Choanocyte

Cell endodermal characteristic of the sponges. With fine structure, this cell is equipped with a flange and a whip (or one whips) making it possible to bring back food. Moreover it is equipped with a core and digestive Vacuole S. Very near to the cell to whipped (so much so that those are called " choanoflagellés"), the choanocyte is a clean derived character which determines the clade partly spongiaires.
