Chinese prospects

The review

Chinese prospects is an scientific magazine published each quarter by the Center of French Studies on China Contemporaine (CEFC). It was founded in 1992 by Michel Bonnin (directing of the publication 1992-1998) and Raphaël Jacquet, by transformation of the Bulletins of Sinology (founded in 1978). Chinese Perspectives analyzes the changes of the contemporary Monde Chinese in their political aspects, economic, social and cultural. Since 1994, its articles are also published in English language in China Perspective .

Animated by experienced specialists established in a permanent way on the ground, and supervised by an international reading panel, the review carries a scientific glance on the current evolutions of the Chinese world, of which she wants to be tool for an at the same time serious and pleasant comprehension. Nevertheless, its analyzes intend above all to the specialists in the contemporary China as for those which wish to look further into knowledge that they have some.

Headings

In 2007, Chinese Perspectives changed formula. The review is organized from now on according to the following headings:

- In-depth analysis a topic-key of the topicality of the Chinese world.

- Adopts a multi-field approach, is based on the academic publications most recent, and just of the interviews of specialists.

a selection of articles except file

- Articles of research on various topics in relation to the contemporary Chinese world.

New of China/Clouded Analysis

- Proposes a critical synthesis of the last outstanding articles of the great Chinese reviews of social sciences.

- A heading created in collaboration with Asia Centers, and which integrates two articles of its electronic review: Analysis clouded.

critical Readings

- Critical Readings of the last important works published on contemporary China.
