Children of Dune

Children of Dune (original title: The Children off Dune ), is a Romance of Science-fiction writes by Frank Herbert, published in 1976.

It is the third shutter (on six) of the Cycle of Dune. It makes following the Messie of Dune .

History

As prophecies announced it, Dune, the planet of sands became a garden. One still finds some towards giants and thus famous the spice of Prescience can still be produced, but for how long?

Epopee of Muad' Dib, there remains only one conquered empire, of the deposed warriors, the priests tried by theocracy. And especially, its two twins, Leto and Ghanima, which increases in them many generations. Emails, there is also the Abomination so feared by the Bene Gesserit, and which seems to strike Alia sister of Muad' Dib, regent of the Empire. Deaths dominate the alive ones. The twins will have to separate and Leto will carry out a hard combat whose “reward” will be not the Prescience, nor longevity, but immortality…

Continuing a mysterious way, the Path of Gold that his/her father refused to borrow, Leto will start a metamorphosis with an aim of preserving the human race.

During this time, the sister of Paul succumbs to temptation and becomes the Abomination while cohabiting with the spirit of the baron Harkonnen. And quid of this mysterious blind prophet of the desert which would resemble to the missing Muad' Dib?
