Chevrolet Del Ray
The Del Ray is a Chevrolet 1958 " full size" (Biscayne, Belair). It was the bottom-of-the-range model in comparison in Biscayne (intermediate) and the Bel Air and Impala (top-of-the-range). In 1958, the Impala model had been added in the series Bel Air (the Bel Air crossed and truck hardtop (without posts of doors) were named Impala). The model was withdrawn the following year when all the models had slipped of position. Biscayne took the place of Del Ray, the Bel Air the place of Bicayne. Unquestionable Del Ray would have been used by LAPD inter alia.
