Chemin de cross

In the Catholic religion, the way of cross indicates a celebrated ceremony the Good Friday to commemorate the Passion of Christ by evoking 14 particular moments of this one (certain resulting from the tradition and not brought back in the biblical writings).
The ceremony comprises sometimes a procession, stopped by preachings, meditations and prayers, carried out while stopping in front of 14 tables, crucifixes or other symbols laid out around the church or of an contiguous place, generally a way reproducing the rise with the calvaire.
