Charazani (or Villa Juan Jose Perez ) is the capital of the Province of Bautista Saavedra. It is located at an altitude of 3250 meters. It was founded by supreme decree the December 23rd 1826 by the Marshal Antonio Jose de Sucre, president de Bolivie. Among his tourist activities, one can quote the celebrated employers' festival the July 16th commemorating the festival of the Vírgen del Carmen; but also thermal springs located at 4 km of the city.
