Organization

The championship of D1P is composed of 14 teams. It is spread out over 26 days, the teams clashing 2 times according to the system of the matches outward journeys and returns. A victory brings back 4 points, a tie 2 points and a defeat 1 point. The team having garnered the greatest number of points at the end of the season is crowned champion while the two last teams of the classification are relegated in Super D2. The championship begins in March and is completed in November (a trève takes seat in July - August).
