Chambers of commerce and of industry Frenchwomen abroad

The Chambers of commerce and of Industry Frenchwomen abroad (CCIFE), some are more than centenaries, are associations independent of local right which gather French and foreign companies.

The CCIFE are members of the Union of the chambers of commerce and industry Frenchwomen abroad (UCCIFE)

These structures all are in the beginning, of the private clubs of businesses. Their vocation first is to animate the communities of free-foreign businesses by organizing events of public relations, meetings of members, houses collective in the fairs and foreign living rooms, of the national promotion campaigns, etc. They make it possible their members to integrate a corporate network to exchange commercial information and to profit from the support and expertises of this network.

When a “club of businesses” wishes to adopt in a country, name “Chamber of commerce”, its persons in charge must be committed respecting a certain number of principles of operation, in particular: the opening to all the French companies which seek support and council to develop their activities in the country concerned.

From this point of view, all the CCIFE inform on the markets and the practices of businesses.

To satisfy waitings of the companies, the Chambers of commerce and of Industry Frenchwomen abroad have many assets:

- They gather and animate French and local companies which form a community of businesses and a network of contacts and information

- They are Bi-cultural structures anchored in local reality

- Number of them are structures very in the past established (20 rooms are more than centenaries)
