Central company of agriculture of Seine-Maritime
The central company of agriculture of Seine-Maritime is an agricultural professional association whose mission is to promote the development of the Agriculture and of the breeding in the department of the Seine-Maritime and to emphasize its farm holdings. Its seat is located at the Chambre of agriculture of Seine-Maritime to Wood-Guillaume (Seine-Maritime).
It was founded in 1761 under the name of “royal of agriculture” and recognized Company Public utility in 1876. It is in the beginning many Comice S agricultural and pomological. It in particular created the first butter contest of France with Forging mill-the-Water in 1906 as well as the always active Société of the races of Rouen nowadays.
The SCA has an important historical heritage (more than 4000 works) of which it continues the development with the assistance of the Université of Rouen.
