Central Banat

The district of central Banat , in Serb Cyrillic Serb Средњебанатскиокруг and in transliterated Srednjebanatski okrug, is a district of the North-East of the Serbia, located in the autonomous province of Voïvodine. It belongs to the area of the Serb Banat. In 2002, it counted 208.456 inhabitants. The administrative center is the town of Zrenjanin.
