Center Tibetan for the human rights and the democracy

The Center Tibetan for the human rights and the democracy , created in 1996, ( Tibetan Centers for Human Rights and Democracy ) is the first ONG Tibetan to be had for mission of informing on the situation of the human rights to the Tibet and of promoting the principles of the democracy in the community Tibetan. This ONG is independent of the Gouvernement Tibetan in exile and has its seat with Dharamsala in India. It is financed by individual donations and international foundations.

The objectives of the TCHRD are to protect and promote the rights of the people Tibetan like making it possible the company Tibetan to build itself on the principles of the human rights and the democracy.

He carries out regular and systematic surveys into the violations of the human rights in Tibet and publishes documents on the various problems encountered in this field by the Tibetans in Tibet.

He attends the Commission of the Human rights to UNO and takes part in International Conferences to inform on the situation of the human rights in Tibet.

The TCHRD organizes various educational programs (workshops, seminars) aiming at encouraging the community Tibetan to take part in an important and vigilant way in construction of democratic Tibet of tomorrow.
