Cattle
see also: Etymology of Cattle
The cattle is a collective term (it does not have plural) which indicates the whole of the animal of breeding, except the animals of Basse-cour.
One distinguishes the cattle (Bovin S, horses, Mulet S, ass S) and the smaller live-stock (Mouton S, Chèvre S, Porc S).
By extension, one speaks about “human cattle” when people are scorned or maltreated.
