Catonsville

Catonsville is an American city located in the State of the Maryland, in the periphery of Baltimore, Comté of Baltimore. Its population rose with 39  820 inhabitants at the time of the census of 2000. Densité : 442,7  hab/km ² (1  146,6  hab/mi ²). Total surface area of the east city of 36,3  km ² (14  semi ²). The area was populated by the Indians Piscataway or Pascatae, connected with the Algonquins. The city was rested by Richard Caton. His/her father-in-law, Charles Carroll (signatory of the Declaration of American independence), had charged it with developing the area. A house was built for the Caton family in 1787. The zone is then named Catonville. In the Years 1830, the current name was essential.
