Cathedral Sainte-Marie de Limerick
Saint Mary' S Cathedral ( cathedral Sainte-Marie ) is a cathedral with Limerick dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
The cathedral was founded in 1168, but before becoming a place of worship, it was the palate of the last Irish king of Munster. Still before, the Parliament of Vickings, Thingmoot was here (between 700 and 1000)
Interior
The retable of Westropp represents the Passion in the Garden of the Olive-trees, the setting with died and the Résurrection of Christ.
