The company
Founded in 1901 by the 3 associated Fernand Cartwright, Leonce Girardot and Emile Voigt the company begins under the initial C.G.V. and settles with
Puteaux.
In 1905 its capital is of 2 franc million.
Girardot resigns in 1906, the company takes the denomination " Charron" cars;.
In 1912, Charron launches Alda (acronym of “Ah! The Delicious Car).
Models
Their first model with 4 cylinders of 3 liters uses a transmission with chain.
Since 1903, C.G.V proposes one of the first car with straight-8 engine of 7,2 liters.
