Caroline Lamarche

Écrivaine of French language born with Liege on March 3rd 1955, Caroline Lamarche passed her early childhood to Spain and its childhood in Paris region. Laid off in Romance philology, she taught in Liege and Nigeria and currently lives in the surroundings of Brussels. Noticed as of its first texts (Radio France Internationale Price and Prix of the Mania for reading for its first news), it obtained the Rossel Price for its first novel, the day of the dog (Midnight, 1996).

She is the author of six novels published at Minuit and Gallimard, from poems ( Entre-deux / Twee vrouwen van twee kanten , with Hilde Keteleer), from news ( I am hundred years old ) and from radiophonic parts for France-Culture and in Belgium (Price SACD with the Festival Phonurgia Nova, Arles 2003 for the other language ), she comes to finish But fire for season , a part written in residence in Chartreuse of Avignon.

Last published titles: Notebooks of one subjected of province (Gallimard Folio, 2004), Free Tracks , with the photographer Christian Carez (editions of the MET), the novel Karl and Lola (Gallimard, 2007) and the illustrated account Barbière (New Impressions, 2007) in collaboration with Charlotte Mollet.
