Carole Gaessler , born the February 23rd 1968 with Thionville, is a French Journaliste working with France Televisions.
It is since 1999 mother of small Margaux.
After a literary class prépa and traditional studies of letters with the Sorbonne, it follows studies to IUT of journalism of Bordeaux.
Attracted very young person by the journalistic profession, it makes its first weapons, still coed, with the Lorraine Républicain.
From 1990 with 1991, it begins with RTL-TV with Metz (become RTL9) then with France 3 (it integrates the drafting of France 3 Lorraine and Champagne-Ardenne) before occupying several stations on France 2.

France Télévisions proposes initially the Newspaper to him of the night on France 2 then that 13 hours.
In 1996, Carole Gaessler becomes journalist in the team of Henri Sannier for Soir 3.
Between 1998 and 2000, it presents the 13 hour old newspaper with Rachid Arhab.
After two years in Australia, of February 2003 in August 2006, it is replacing it of David Pujadas with the 20 hour old newspaper during its vacation.
Political evenings
Carole Gaessler also presents the electoral evenings since 2004 (copresentation with
Daniel Bilalian for the Regional ones and the Cantonal ones of 2004, and with David Pujadas for the referendum of 2005 on the treaty establishing a constitution for the U.E).

Total immersion
In 2004, Carole Gaessler presents on France 2 Total the Immersion magazine, produced by Be Happy Productions, carried out by Bernard Cazedepats and suggested by Frederic Lacroix.
Three teams of turning immerse themselves in a public place during one month, seven days out of seven, twenty-four hours out of twenty-four to look at, listen to and film anonymous men and women whose destinies cross, and to tell the daily newspaper of these " hero of the réel".

This emission knew two versions:
- the first covered a subject under various angles and Carole Gaessler moved on the place-even of the company to present the emission;
- the second: in a house, in Garches, the stimulating one receives its guests; during the emission, a main theme is treated, in plate and through reports then Carole Gaessler presents the subject of topicality of the week, which is evoked in image.

- April 2000: elected president d' Honneur of the association of the Former students of the Charlemagne College.
- October 22nd, 2000: rewarded at the time of the 14th ceremony of the 7 for gold.
