Carlos Pellegrini
Carlos Enrique Jose Pellegrini Bevans called Carlos Pellegrini commonly (born the October 11th 1846 with Buenos Aires - deceased the July 17th 1906 with Buenos Aires). is a lawyer and Argentinian politician . Following the resignation of Miguel Juárez Celman of which he was the vice-president, he reached the presidency of the Nation which he exerted of the August 6th 1890 until the October 12th 1892.
He had been named Minister for the government of the province of Buenos Aires in 1878, and of the War and the Navy in 1879. Vice-president of the Republic for Partido Autonomista Nacional in 1886, it had to succeed Miguel Juárez Celman. He inherited a very difficult economic situation, following the disastrous budgetary control of his predecessor. During its presidential period it succeeds in cleansing the public purses, created the Bank of the Argentinian Nation as well as the prestigious college which always bears its name: the " Escuela Superior de Comercio Carlos Pellegrini" (academic high level public school dependant on the University of Buenos Aires).
After its mandate, he was elected senator during the period 1895 - 1903, and in 1906 he was elected appointed national. Its remainders rest with the Cimetière of Recoleta to Buenos Aires.
