The Caribbean Space or Caraïbe is an area of the sphere corresponding to the catchment area of the Caribbean Sea. It was sometimes qualified the Mediterranean of the Nouveau World, it was marked culturally by different the Colonisation S Western and the slave companies which took place there. Various denominations

The last to be created is the Association of the States of Caribbean the (English AEC or ACS).The Caribbean one is not federated by a common language, the principal languages which are spoken there are: Spanish, English, different languages creole, French and Dutch, and sometimes also Portuguese among populations of origin Brazilian and other languages of populations taken refuge (as the Vietnamese which sometimes was essential de facto in certain isolated communities), or other European languages (in a nonofficial way, but de facto in certain local communities, such as the Swedish, the German and the Italian where they coexist with the official language).
The companies caribéennes are very cosmopolitan because the area saw many successive waves of immigration.
The Caribbean one is famous in the imaginary collective for its beaches and its paradisiac nature, but also for the exubérance of its populations and their direction of the festival.
