Captain America is a Super-héros of Cartoon (Comic S), with the costume inspired of the American Drapeau. The character was born in December 1940 from the brush of Jack Kirby and from the imagination of Joe Simon, draftsman and scenario writer for the Timely Comics. He appears for the first time in Captain America Comics #1 in March 1941.
Genesis

Alternate versions
Ultimate Captain America
A new series, the Ultimates, puts in scene a modernized version of the Vengeurs in the universe Ultimate Marvel, and reconsiders the origins of Captain America to give rise to new Captain America which awakes in the world of the beginning of XXIe century, thus giving a new glance on the paradoxes of its character: a soldier faithful to an army which uses not very advisable means in a world much more complex than that it knew.
