Candé-on-Beuvron is a common French located in the department of Loir-et-Cher and the area Center.

Geography

Commune located at the double confluence of the the Loire with the Beuvron and the Cosson.

History

At the beginning of the XIXe century, the priest made transfer the parish church (under Saint Benign) since the edge from Beuvron to hillside. There remains an elegant residence in its place and places.

The Castle located in the borough, at the northern end, was given by the family the Wallow City to the diocese of Orleans, which in made a house of formation and reception. During the Second world war, young people were dissimulated there with the authorities of Occupation.

March 19th, 2006 a communal referendum was organized around the adhesion of the commune with Agglopolys inter-commune structure of the widened agglomeration blésoise. The result was favorable to a small majority.

Allotments largely change the provision of the borough of Candé, which tends to move length of the valley of Beuvron towards the plate of Villebazin and Frileuse.

Several Castle X on the commune, one (18th century) in edge of the borough on the road of the lifting, two others in the hamlet of Madon.

One or two houses of beautiful stones in the part of the borough which skirts Beuvron.
