First Mulhousian campus to be created, the Campus of Illberg is located in the district of the High-Pear tree. Illberg means into Alsatian " Mountain of Ill" , the campus is indeed located on a hill which is bordered by the Ill.

The campus of Illberg is, with the campus of the Foundry, one of the two Mulhousien campuses of the Université of High-Alsace (UHA). It is currently populated the most of the two Mulhousian campuses.
