Camp of Larzac

The camp of Larzac is a military camp of the Army (France) French. It is located on the commune of the Cavalry in the Aveyron. Of a surface of 3.000 ha, it is used as Garnison with the 122e regiment of infantry of line, unit support of the Center of drive and instruction to the operational shooting (CEITO).

It allows the shootings of Infanterie, but also of mortar, as well as the flight campaigns of Drone S CL 289.

Its name comes from that of the plate on which it is. Its creation, in the years 1970 was the object of many demonstrations (cf Larzac).
