Camilo Cienfuegos
Camilo Cienfuegos was born with Havana on February 6th, 1932. His/her parents were Spanish anarchistic refugees.
It takes part in the fights coeds against the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista, before joining Mexico and linking themselves with the forwarding of the Granma . Unloaded in Cuba on December 2nd, 1956, it belongs to the score of men ordered by Fidel Castro who gives rise to the Rebellious Army. In 1958, it orders the Column n°2 " Antonio Maceo" who carries out a decisive projection towards Havana. January 2nd, 1959, it enters the capital victoriously and takes the control of the Military camp of Columbia, general headquarter of the army of Batista. Founder of the Ministry for the Revolutionary armed forces and Head of State Major, it is dispatched by Fidel Castro to stop Huber Matos, shown secession (this last is condemned at the end of 1959 to 20 years of reclusion, which it will carry out without one day of freedom.) October 26th, the small plane in which Camilo embarked to return to Havana disappears purely and simply from the cuban sky.
The thesis of the accident remains prone to controversy, of share Huber Matos, which declared in 1987 in Nadie escuchaba, that Cienfuegos would have signed its death warrant by ensuring Fidel Castro that there was no plot on behalf of Matos.
