Calamagrostis epigejos
Calamagrostis epigejos is a herbaceous Plante of the family of the Poaceae , subfamily of the Pooideae , tribe of the Aveneae . One finds it in silicieux ground in Eurasia and Africa. It can be also cultivated elsewhere.
It is a hardy perennial, wet wood and pastures, with tracing rhizome, from 0,7 to 1,2 m height.
This species being sometimes called “reed of wood”, “terrestrial reed” or “reed of the hills”.
