CRJ-200

Description of the plane

The CRJ200 is propelled by two turbojets General Electric CF34-3B1 generating a nominal push of 8.729 book (38,83 kN) on takeoff. At a cruising speed being able to reach 464 nodes (860 km/h), it can cross 1.915 marine miles (3 547 km) with a full load of 50 passengers.

The CRJ200 measures 87 feet and 10 inches (26,77 m) length and its maximum mass on takeoff is of 53.000 books (24 041 kg). Its ray of U-turn is only of 75 feet (22,9 m) on the ground, an important asset with the increasingly stocked airports.

Aeronautical Bombardier currently proposes two versions of the CRJ200. The CRJ200 ER and the CRJ300 LR. The increased version remotely passable (ER) is characterized by a maximum mass on takeoff from 51.000 books (23 133 kg) and a passable distance from 1.560 Nm (2 888 km). Lastly, the version at long passable distance (LR) posts a maximum mass on the takeoff of 53.000 books (23 041 kg) and a passable distance of 1.915 Nm (3 547 km).

The engines of each version can be modified in order to give to the plane exceptional performances in hot weather with the airports in high-altitude, thus making it possible to increase the payload and, consequently, profitability.
