Bruno Senna

Bruno Senna (born the October 15th 1983 with Sao Paulo, Brazil) is a racing driver Brésil IEN. He is the nephew of late triple world champion of Formule 1, Ayrton Senna.

Biography

As of the eight years age, the young Bruno Senna emits the wish to assiduously walk on the traces of his famous uncle, and practical during several years karting, often in company of Ayrton itself. But following the fatal accident of Ayrton Senna on the circuit of Imola in 1994, his/her mother Viviane Senna Lalli (the sister of Ayrton) prohibits to him to continue its career.

They are only 10 years later, in 2004, that Bruno can take again the course of his career. Advised by the Austrian old driver Gerhard Berger (a large Senna family friend, and which contributed to the lifting of the family interdict) the Brésilien young person begins in the single-seaters while taking part in the last two meetings from the British championship from Formule BMW. Quickly, it is highlighted by obtaining one 6th place at Donington. The same year, in Formula Renault 2.0, it obtains one 2nd place on the circuit of Macao, for its first race with this machine.

In spite of its extremely limited experiment, it passes in British Formule 3 the following year, within stable RR Racing, Co-held by the Finnish pilot Kimi Räikkönen and its manager Steve Robertson. Bruno fights regularly for the points, and obtains some podiums, to finish 10th championship. He explodes truly in 2006 since he gains his first victories in F3, and that he fights a time for the title. It finishes the championship in third position.

In 2007, Bruno Senna takes part in the championship GP2 Series, the anteroom of the Formule 1, within the stable Arden International. The May 12th, for its third race in the discipline, Bruno gains the test " longue" meeting of Barcelona, on the Circuit of Catalonia, in front of Timo Glock and Lucas di Grassi. After this victory and several podiums, it finishes the season in honourable a 8th place (having for goal to finish this season of training in signal 10).

At the end of this season, it carried out tests on the Circuit of Sherry for stables GP2 Campos Large-Price and ISport International (champion 2007), establishing the record of the turn with the latter.
