Quotations
-
“I will always be unaware of with what it spent its days, where it hid, in company of which it was during the winter months of its first running away and during the few weeks of spring when it again escaped. It is its secrecy there. Poor and invaluable secrecy that the torturers, the ordinances, the authorities known as of occupation, the Deposit, the barracks, the camps, the History, time - all that soils you and destroys you - will not have been able to fly to him. ” (Excipit).
